Steam further gives you more incentive to buy stuff because you also get emotes, profile-level & badges and seasonal trading cards. Seeing all those green sale percentages further might make you impulsively buy games even if you didn't plan on buying them at all. If the same people release a game at a later date, you might be more inclined to buy the new, expensive game. It makes you try out older games of a dev-studio or publisher that you otherwise might not have tried at all. But who knows if that supposed leaked date is accurate, claim it's on the 23rd.Ĭoncerning sales I think that a sale always brings in a lot of cash for both publishers and the platform. I just hope they aren't gearing for the chip in the head as the 'doing something' part.Īccording to that PC-gamer article, linked above, the sale is supposed to take place on the 25th of June and not on the 20th. We are overdue now for is it the 6th generation console race? All our current consoles were released around 2010 and usually every six years we get a new one. Microsoft is the only company doing something and last year they stole the E3. They might as well either can the Switch and go back to the 3DS or can the 3DS and do more for the Switch to bring the big games as many of the current games look like 3DS titles which the controls would work better for then the awkward Switch. Nintendo is only doing bite sized games now AKA Link's Awakening which fits more as a 3DS title and others are not much better then phone graphics with the skinny stick figures and fat heads. We haven't had GT6 or the new Elder Scrolls series which was teasted 2 years ago and we usually have one every 3 years. The rest of the video game industry is in a quite stage I've been watching and nuttin much happening where last year was a lot more activity. Hopefully we have a good storage from previous years the US didn't waste and that will help us squeak thru and next year is more beneficial but I think Steam is going to be holding back. Gaming is going to be the last thing people will think about when it comes to food on the table and I think Steam see's that (if they aren't stupid and brainwashed by the MSM). Most of California should be having 95 to 100F by now on a regular basis with the first taste early in the month which is far from happening. Medium range forecasts shows another jet stream extention in the day 10 thru 15 period. They never even planted this year and they had more snow and cold this month.Ĭalifornia hasn't had any true warm weather yet either with dams at 200 percent capacity due to record Spring rains and heavy mountain snow recently blasting them with 2 feet in the ski areas with possibly more in June after a respite.įarmers there are still dealing with soggy grounds. If they don't have a summer sale or a REALLY short one that's a piece of poo that will defintely mean they are scared to as Miss Frizzle would say "Take Chances,Get Messy! make mistakes!'.Įntire sillos in Nebraska and Minnesota have exploded and dams have collapsed, much of the midwest area is a write off where a good chunk of our food comes from. I think due to the global shakyness Steam is on a wait and see approach considering more then half of the US argiculture is a total write off so in the next few months we are going to have a 1935 style rise in food prices and shortages along with the Europe crisis and tarrifs it's like history is repeating itself again.
